1. ISSUANCE OF CONDITIONAL MENRO CLEARANCE
A frontline service that grants conditional MENRO clearance to business establishments that needs more time in processing other needed documents where such documents has complex requirements from national agencies such as but not limited to water permits, discharge permits and PCO accreditation; or putting up facilities or repairing facilities needed for environmental compliance that requires time and money, provided that some requirements for the establishment of the business are already complied with. As part of agreement, the business proprietor has to undertake before a notary public stating the compliance item/s, target dates or time frame of complying the requirements.
This clearance is issued pursuant to Municipal Ordinance No. 2019-1255 where every person conducting any business in Manolo Fortich shall secure environmental clearance from the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office. The business owner must update the MENRO on the status of their compliance within the stated time frame to avoid recommendation for nullity of issued clearance considering that such conditional clearance expires within target compliance date.
